새로 만들어진 associate plan인데 1인으로도 가입할 수 있는 그룹플랜을 소개해드립니다.
조건은 Business 를 운영하는 회사를 가지고 있는 개인이나 그룹이 가입하실 수 있습니다.
오바마케어 실행이후로 small group health insurance가입에 대한 조건이 많이 강화되어 자영업하시는 분들의 그룹보험 가입이 힘들어 지고있습니다.
지금 소개해드리는 보험은 같은 업종의 Association플랜으로 가입은 매월 1일부터 하실 수 있고 전달 17일 전에 가입하셔야합니다. PPO Plan으로전국어디에서도 이용할 수 있는 플랜입니다. HSA , PPO등 네가지 플랜이 있습니다. Budget에따라서 플랜을 선택하실 수 있습니다.
보험료가 저렴한 이유는 Association에서 건강한 그룹만을 선별하여서 가입을 결정합니다. 가입조건은 아래와 같이 8가지 질문을 하는데 해당하는 질문에 대해서 가입여부를 알려주므로 일반 보험회사의 small group plan은 이런한 가입절차가 없습니다.
In the past (5) year has any applicant seen a doctor, been diagnosed with, had treatment, hospitalization,
medications, tests, or has been advised to have treatment or surgery for anything of the following.
A. Heart attack, brain tumor, stroke, heart disease or heart problems?
B. Cancer, tumor, lymphoma, or any type of transplant?
C. Any surgery or hospitalization in the last 5 years, OR any currently pending, planned or recommended?
D. Emphysema or COPD(chronic obstructive pulmonary disease만성폐색성질환)?
E. Kidney failure, dialysis, or disorder of the liver, stomach, pancreas,colon or bladder?
F. Seizures, epilepsy, hemophilia, Sleep Apnea or blood disorder?
G. Diabetes, endocrine, Auto Immune, Chron’s Disease or Arthritis or pituitary disorder, growth disorder, lupus, MS, AIDS, or HIV+?
H. Currently pregnant, premature delivery, or multiple births? Pending due date
I. Are you taking or have you taken any medications in the last 12 months? (If yes you must list all below.)
가입을 원하시면 첨부한 application을 채워주시고, 회사정보(이름주소 전화번호, Tax ID(SS4))와 void check를 주시면 가입해드리겠습니다 보험료가 저렴한 것은 application에 써있듯이 Health questionnaire가 있어서 underwriting을 합니다. 가입하면 approval될때까지 시간이 필요하고, 처음가입때 Administration Fee$125, monthly association fee$20이 있습니다.
